IDJYGAHP
۞THE TRIBE OF THE HEADHUNTERS۞
Much of what I am writing about in this book has to do with what I learned as a result of studying my mother’s culture. There are several sub clans in the area of my indigenous roots however they all are subordinate to the Idjygahp clan of the voyaging headhunters of Melanesia.
The Idjygahp people pf the Sepik Province of New Guinea in Melanesia show us an example of what happens to a democracy when it is allowed to grow organically. I say this because the system inside the Spirit House of my people completely resembles a modern democratic House of Parliament where you have the government and the opposition that compete with each other for control of the wooden idols inside the Spirit House. Everything that happened in the community was done after a debate in the Spirit House occurred and all of the members voted on what should be done.
To understand all of this first we have to try to look inside the Idjygahp world and mindset. Before the coming of the Europeans Melanesia was an extremely dangerous place to try and survive. Every tribe was a potential deadly enemy as tribes were killing other tribes constantly. Societies in Melanesia were driven by fear. The Idjygahps were unusual because of their tendency to simply pack up and relocate. Even today the elders in the Idjygahp tribe wonder why we moved so much in our history. There are many large pieces of Idjygahp land that have been left abandoned by this tribe from part of the Sepik River to parts of the Northern Coast of New Guinea including part of an island that remains unsettled to this day as the neighboring tribes will not allow anyone to go into these areas.
The reason why the Idjygahps kept on moving shows clearly what was in the minds of these most dangerous of all Melanesians. My people’s religious belief system had to do with appeasing their spirit idols so that their community would be at peace, healthy and prosperous. If they neglected their worship of these idols then they believed bad things would start happening to them like being eaten by a crocodile, or someone getting sick. The cause of death inside of our society was always blamed on the Spirit House as the idols they worshipped were indeed their gods whom they worshipped and adored and who they believed controlled their lives. They believed if the Spirit House was appeased that they would have good fortune and magico-demonic assistance in everything that they did.
As a Christian studying the Spirit House I have concluded that the idols were only symbols but the demons they represented were very real and very powerful. These demonic forces assisted the Idjygahps in their every day activities and also when they went off to fight. The Idjygahps were brutal people who dealt with killing humans in the same way Westerners deal with fishing. It was a recreation to them. They went in and committed genocide on entire villages where no one was allowed to escape. Some of the more fortunate children in these villages would be taken back to barren sisters or wives for upbringing. All the others would be destroyed and that included all the women and children as well as the men. The male victims’ heads would be cut off and taken back to the Spirit House.
The Idjygahp Warriors moved in small groups of maybe twenty. They were all highly skilled in the art of combat and they competed to see who could collect the most heads. They used natural medicines found in the jungle to treat war injuries and to make fight concoctions for the warriors to drink before they went out on their hunting raids. This fight drink would open up all of their blood vessels to such a degree that their eyes would turn bright read and spit would drip from the sides of their mouths. The drink made them half insane. The blood of the heads of their male victims would be collected. Once they returned from their hunting they would bring all the heads into the Spirit House where all the men would join in the work of preparing everything for a demonic feast that must occur almost continuously to appease the demonic idols in the Spirit house.
The blood of the heads would be drunk and the blood would be used to wash the skin so the whole inside of the Spirit House would be covered in blood. The idols would be taken down from their hidden places and also washed in the blood so they too could drink their fill. After words the heads would be boiled and the soup would be used to make sago pudding. The boiled heads would be served with the sago pudding and all the men would eat everything up until only a naked skull would be left.
The Idjygahp Spirit House had large nets in it hanging from the rafters. The skulls of the victims would be kept in these nets. There were thousands of them as the demons which controlled the Idjygahp warriors needed constant worship. So these raiding parties were a continuous event in the Idjygahp culture. Needless to say the first German Catholic missionaries who discovered this brutal tribe were absolutely shocked to see thousands of skulls inside the Spirit House. When asked about it, the Idjygahps simply said that they were trophies of their victims.
These missionaries then convinced them somehow to remove the skulls and bury them. There is a mass grave in my village where all of these skulls still rest underneath the sand to this very day. These German Missionaries then carried this story back to Europe with them and so the legend of Melanesian Headhunters quickly spread until now almost any Westerner knows about the legend of the Melanesian Headhunter. The fact is that the Idjygahp Tribe and their subordinate tribes were the only ones in Melanesia to practice this kind of killing. Though cannibalism was common in Melanesia only one tribe were headhunters and that was the Idjygahp Tribe.
My Tribe was so famous as killers that they made their living as mercenaries. And this is the real story of why the Idjygahps had to keep on moving. Far from running away from their enemies, they were actually looking for new ones. The Idjygahps were bully killers on a massive scale. Since they were gypsies they moved around looking for weak tribes to help in their wars against stronger foes. They would meet the weaker tribes and offer their assistance in return for land and other favors like food or sex with the women in exchange for their services. They would stay in an area long enough to systematically kill all available enemies and once there were only friends left the Idjygahps had to move.
This is why the Idjygahp Tribe has no modern day enemies anywhere inside the large coastal area they moved through. If you can imagine, the enemy population of entire islands were slaughtered and then replaced with friendly tribes who would then become trading partners with us. The Idjygahps have a lot of trading partners to this day because of this. The Idjygahps were the most feared people in the Sepik and the Sepiks are the most feared people in Melanesia and Melanesians are the most feared people on Earth. The Idjygahp Warriors were the apex carnivores in Melanesia. We were on the top of the food chain and the menu included human heads.
No Tribe has ever been able to resist us. From the time a child is old enough to walk his training begins. He will learn to shoot spears as a game. He will drink blood as a boy and during his initiation he will kill unsuspecting captured enemy children as his final practice for killing before he too is allowed to join the hunting parties if he was seen to be talented in the art of war. They used a type of catapult made from bamboo that would be used to sling two spears at a time. One of my great-grandfathers shot two spears into the head of a king of one of our enemy tribes. They were brutal.
On one occasion my great-grandfather encountered a woman and baby in the jungle. He commanded his soldiers to kill the woman and take the child but his soldiers were afraid to do it. So he shot two spears into the woman and out of pure rage he picked up the baby, held it by its feet and swung it head first into the trunk of a tree smashing the child’s skull killing it instantly. Then he threw the lifeless body into the bush. He turned to his men and told them that when he said to kill that they were just to do it with no hesitation. This clearly illustrates the hardened hearts of the Idjygahp Warrior. This same man who was a general among his people found it very difficult to go for more then a month without killing someone. So he would load his canoe with spears and his faithful dog and travel through the mangroves alone hunting for intruders to kill so at least he could bring a head or two back to the Spirit House.
We were bread to fight as cunningly violent strong young women would be married to cunningly violent strong young men so the children would become even more violent and vicious. The Idjygahps were the pit bulls of the human race and the apex Melanesian. This is why the male members of my tribe are very passive people most of the time because they want to avoid conflict as much as possible. The reason is we fear what is inside of us because there is a type of pure ferocity inside the Idjygahp male that in days past always ended in murder. This urge to kill is very difficult to control once it comes. I am speaking from experience.
We will go out of our way to make sure we don’t offend anyone however this passivity can instantly change into a type of pure viciousness that unsuspecting agitators never believed was there. I had many fights growing up in Wisconsin as I was the only brown child in a sea of white people. Though I tried my level best to get along with the people in Two Rivers Wisconsin many of them wanted to abuse me and they got the shock of their life when I wouldn’t let them.
I doubt there is a child who enjoyed the act of fighting more then I did. I loved it. I loved the pain I felt when they hit me because the pain would click a switch inside me and suddenly I was a completely different person. I was fearless and I didn’t care if I won or lost. I just enjoyed the passion of the fight. It was like an intimate dance to me. My friends never tried to help me because I was a fighting machine. I hammered anything that came into range including my friends if they got too close at the wrong time. Being absolutely fearless I didn’t care how large the bullies were or how many of them there were.
One time I got into a bar fight with two guys after one of them had attacked me from behind putting me into a choke hold and actually lifting me off the ground so I couldn’t breath. When the tables turned about 15 seconds later I was holding that same man over my head and I swung him head first into the concrete floor. Fortunately when my friend saw me lift him over my head he knew I was going to kill him so he ran in and caught him at the very last second and helped him land on his feet instead of his head.
I didn’t realize that my friend had saved this man’s life at the time because I was half drunk and it was dimly lit in the bar. When I looked up I just saw this guying standing there. He was already in shock because I meant to kill him and he knew it. So I grabbed him by the neck and pushed him back to the bar where his friend was also standing. Then I grabbed both by the neck and was shaking them so violently that I had unknowingly lifted both men off of their feet. That is when my friend stepped in again and pulled me off because he believed I was going to kill them both. I didn’t realize any of this. All I knew is that I wanted to kill both of them and I wanted them to fight back but they were both so scared that they didn’t. After the fight was over my friend told me everything that had happened but to me it was all just a blur.
I am a typical Idjygahp man. When you meet me you will think I am the nicest person on earth and I probably am. I am very meek. But inside me dwells a type of cold murderous monster crossbred over a thousand years to be ultra-cunning and ultra-violent to the point of being sociopathic! My personality is almost perfectly divided into a Doctor Jeckel and Mr. Hide. All of my caring maternal emotions are set on one side and my animalistic murderous emotions are set on the other. I often tell people that if I were not a Christian I would have killed a lot of people in my life already. And I know I wouldn’t feel bad about it because I am not one to start a fight but I am certainly one to finish it no matter how outnumbered I am. I just don’t care because I would rather die then allow someone to abuse me for no reason.
It is this idea that has driven me to write this book in the way I have to do what I can to stop the West from stealing the oil and gas on my indigenous land. It is my time to defend my family property and I take that responsibility very seriously. In the modern world we fight with words and that is what I am doing now. I am still headhunting but only on an intellectual level. What I am hunting for is the heads of the Western globalists that are threatening my land. It isn’t a physical fight but an intellectual one and my goal is to show the Western World how mistaken they are and if they don’t stop they will just ending up killing all of us including themselves in the end.
Pain is the thing that triggers the switch from one personality to the other. Any type of pain will do whether it is physical, emotional or psychological. In days past this type of dual personality helped my people fight and win against outsiders but to get along when back in the village. In today’s world we must be very careful to control this beast living inside or it can cause great harm to our lives and the lives of those we encounter. That is why we are so nice. It isn’t because we fear what other people are capable of but rather what we are capable of when we lose control.
The Idjygahp society was controlled by the most cunning and brutal men that our people could breed. We were bred to be the king cobras of Melanesia. These exceptionally intelligent brutal hunters of humans would then have more brutal children and so on. The point is that we were all kings as our society was absolutely democratic controlled by a demonic religious constitution which told us that we had to sacrifice others so that we could live. And everything was voted on first. Though we were all royals there were ways of distinguishing ones self. There were war chiefs but only the total membership could actually declare war though once they did it felt to the war chief to lead his warriors to victory.
The point I am trying to make to you people is that modern Western Democracies are growing in the exact same way. The natural tendency for a democracy is to become ever more violent as they compete with other violent groups of people around them. In the end the most violent rules and that is exactly why the American led West rules the earth today. It rules because it is the most cunning and brutal group of nations in the history of mankind when evaluated on shear size and scale. The Western society has already reached the heights of pure unfeeling brutality that the Idjygahps had.
Western democracies use their enormous military power to crush any enemies standing in their way even as the Romans did. And in fact, the Roman Empire still exists but it has been divided to some degree but there are still world institutions that control all of them. The Idjygahp Spirit House is replaced by the stock market on Wall Street as the blood of millions is spilled so that Western stock markets can grow so everyone in the West has a job so everything is alright on the home front. This is an exact representation of the Idjygahp tribe. The only difference is that wooden idols have been replaced for those made of silicon, rubber, copper, gold, plastic and steel. But the Western people adore these idols in exactly the same way as the Idjygahps because the blood of enemies must be spilled in order to gain the resources to produce these new technological gods.
The question is if there is anything to learn from Idjygahp? What they taught me is how fear can so completely control the thinking of a society that it will cause them to reach amazing heights of brutality. This is also seen in the Western mentality of kill to live. This was a way of life for my people. Fear of death caused them to worship demonic idols and to appease those idols. The West uses violence to worship their money idols on Wall Street and the technological idols that money can purchase.
We call these idols “toys” and “amenities” and Westerners spend all of their time working to get them. Western leaders spend all of their time controlling helpless groups of people around the world with the barrel of cannon so that their home populations have the modern lifestyles they want. The middle man is making money the whole time by controlling the back rooms of governments all over the world. And so violence fills the Earth.

This is remarkable story, Tim, and completely fascinating. I do hope you are able to collect your experiences and findings into a book of some sort, it would be, I think, an important counterpoint to how we in the West live (squander?) our lives!
